01 - Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into 8 triangles.
03 - Place one sausage at the wide end of each dough triangle and roll tightly toward the point.
04 - Set wrapped sausages seam side down on the lined baking sheet.
05 - Brush tops with melted butter and sprinkle with poppy seeds or sesame seeds, if desired.
06 - Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
07 - Allow sausage rolls to cool slightly before serving. Present warm, accompanied by preferred dipping sauces.
