A refreshing Italian aperitif with Prosecco and Aperol, perfect for summer.

# What goes in:

→ Spritz

01 - 3 oz Prosecco
02 - 2 oz Aperol (or Campari for a more bitter version)
03 - 1 oz soda water
04 - Ice cubes

→ Garnish

05 - 1 orange slice
06 - 1 green olive (optional, Venetian style)

# Cooking steps:

01 - Fill a large wine glass generously with ice cubes.
02 - Pour in the Prosecco, followed by the Aperol, then top with soda water.
03 - Stir gently to combine—do not over-mix to maintain the carbonation.
04 - Garnish with an orange slice and, if desired, a green olive on a cocktail pick.
05 - Serve immediately while cold and sparkling.

# Tips from flavorandfeast:

01 -
  • It brings a sophisticated touch to any casual gathering without requiring hard work.
  • The balance of bitter and sweet creates a refreshing taste you cannot find in other cocktails.
02 -
  • Never shake the ingredients or you will lose the precious carbonation immediately.
  • Using cheap wine will ruin the drink, so choose a decent bottle of Prosecco.
03 -
  • Chill your Prosecco and Aperol in the fridge beforehand to minimize the need for excess ice.
  • Squeeze the orange peel over the glass before dropping it in to release the citrus oils.
