# Cooking steps:

01 - In a medium bowl or large jar, combine rolled oats, almond milk, protein powder, Greek yogurt, chia seeds, maple syrup or honey, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt.
02 - Stir thoroughly until all ingredients are fully incorporated and the mixture is smooth with no dry pockets.
03 - Cover tightly and refrigerate overnight, or for at least 8 hours, allowing the oats and chia seeds to fully absorb the liquid.
04 - In the morning, stir the oats and add a splash of milk if needed to loosen the texture to your preference.
05 - Divide between bowls or jars and top with fresh fruit, nuts, seeds, or a drizzle of nut butter as desired.

# Tips from flavorandfeast:

01 -
  • You wake up to breakfast that is already done, creamy, and packing 26 grams of protein per jar.
  • The chia seeds thicken everything into a pudding like texture that feels indulgent but is genuinely nourishing.
02 -
  • Protein powder clumps if you dump it on top of everything else, always whisk it into the milk first or sift it in gradually.
  • These oats thicken significantly overnight, so if you prefer a looser consistency add extra milk before refrigerating.
03 -
  • Layer toppings between the oats before chilling for a parfait effect that makes mornings feel a little special.
  • A pinch of salt sounds wrong in a sweet breakfast but it is the single thing that makes this recipe taste finished.
