01 - Add almond milk, frozen banana, rolled oats, protein powder, maple syrup, cinnamon, vanilla extract, almond butter, sea salt, and ice to a blender.
02 - Blend on high until smooth and creamy, about 1 to 2 minutes.

# Tips from flavorandfeast:

01 -
  • It legitimately tastes like you are drinking oatmeal cookie dough, which makes it nearly impossible to believe it is good for you.
  • The protein keeps you full for hours without that heavy, sluggish feeling that comes from a real indulgence.
02 -
  • If your protein powder is already very sweet, cut the maple syrup in half or you will end up with something cloying that loses its cookie dough balance.
  • For a genuinely dairy free version, double check your protein powder and chocolate chip labels because hidden casein and whey show up in surprising places.
03 -
  • Freeze your bananas in chunks rather than whole so they blend faster and more evenly without overworking your machine.
  • A tiny extra pinch of salt at the end, just two or three grains, makes the maple and vanilla flavors bloom in a way that will make people ask what your secret is.
