01 - Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
02 - Wash asparagus spears and trim the tough woody ends from the bottom.
03 - In a large bowl, combine asparagus with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Toss until spears are evenly coated.
04 - Divide seasoned asparagus into 8 equal bundles, each containing approximately 3-4 spears.
05 - Wrap each asparagus bundle with one slice of bacon, starting from the bottom and spiraling upward. Place bundles seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
06 - Bake for 18-20 minutes until bacon becomes crispy and asparagus is fork-tender.
07 - For extra crispy bacon, switch to broil for 1-2 minutes while watching closely to prevent burning.
08 - Transfer bacon-wrapped asparagus bundles to a serving platter and serve immediately while hot.
