03 - 8 oz cream cheese, softened
04 - 1 (10.5 oz) can condensed cream of chicken soup
05 - 1 (0.7 oz) packet Italian dressing mix

07 - 1 lb (16 oz) angel hair pasta

→ Garnish (optional)

08 - 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
09 - Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

# Cooking steps:

01 - Arrange chicken breasts in a single layer at the bottom of the slow cooker.
02 - Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add softened cream cheese and stir until completely smooth and melted.
03 - Blend in cream of chicken soup, Italian dressing mix, and chicken broth. Stir continuously until mixture is smooth and well incorporated.
04 - Pour the prepared sauce evenly over the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
05 - Cover and cook on LOW setting for 4-5 hours until chicken is tender and reaches internal temperature of 165°F.
06 - About 20 minutes before serving, cook angel hair pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain thoroughly.
07 - Remove chicken from slow cooker and shred or leave whole. Stir sauce to blend. Serve chicken and sauce over pasta, garnished with parsley and black pepper if desired.

# Tips from flavorandfeast:

01 -
  • The sauce becomes impossibly rich and creamy with practically zero hands-on time
  • Leftovers taste even better the next day, making it perfect for meal prep
02 -
  • The sauce might look slightly separated when you first lift the lid but stirring it right before serving brings it back together perfectly
  • Cooking on HIGH for 2-3 hours works in a pinch though LOW really gives the best texture and flavor development
03 -
  • Use full-fat cream cheese for the creamiest results, low-fat versions can sometimes break during slow cooking
  • Letting the cream cheese and butter come to room temperature before making the sauce ensures everything blends smoothly
