- Trim both ends from the radishes and slice them thinly into rounds, approximately 1/16 inch thick. Use a sharp knife or mandoline slicer for uniform thickness.
- Place the radish slices in a mixing bowl. Add olive oil, sea salt, black pepper, and optional garlic powder and smoked paprika. Toss thoroughly until every slice is evenly coated.
- Set your air fryer to 355°F and allow it to preheat for 3 minutes before adding the radishes.
- Spread the seasoned radish slices in a single layer across the air fryer basket. Cook in multiple batches if needed to prevent overcrowding, which causes uneven cooking.
- Cook for 12 to 15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through the cooking time. Monitor closely during the final 3 minutes as the chips can brown quickly. Remove when golden brown and crisp throughout.
- Transfer the finished chips to a wire cooling rack. Allow them to cool for 2 to 3 minutes, during which time they will become even crispier. Serve immediately for optimal texture.
